Boxer

The mischievous and playful bull terrier is a loyal pet that will guard the family. Because the breed is powerful and some members may have aggressive tendencies, Bull Terriers must be obedience trained and socialized from an early age. As with any tough breed, proper precautions around strangers, children, and other animals is essential. With proper socialization and training, Bull Terriers make great family pets. However, they probably are not recommended for first time dog owners, nor do they so well in households with other pets or children. Bull terriers must be exercised daily for them to thrive. They have a short coat and are average shedders.

Genetic Predisposition

A genetic predisposition means that an individual may have a tendency to develop certain diseases as a consequence of inherited defects in the genes. Although some disorders occur because of spontaneous mutation of genes, many genetic disorders are inherited. These conditions are seen quite often in canines, mostly but not exclusively,in purebreds. Having said that, this breed has an increased risk for the following conditions which may or may not manifest
