Indie
Also known as the Indian Pariah Dog, this breed is one of the hardiest and smartest breeds. With a cautious temperament, Indies need to be trained and socialized early on. Usually good with families, Indies are also friendly and gentle with children. Daily exercise is recommended. Their coats are short and low maintenance.

A genetic predisposition means that an individual may have a tendency to develop certain diseases as a consequence of inherited defects in the genes. Although some disorders occur because of spontaneous mutation of genes, many genetic disorders are inherited.
